FINANCIAL DISTRICT PAVILION
Pratt Institite GAUD | Studio II | Chris Perry, critic
This pavilion, located in publicly owned private space in the Financial District of New York City, aims to provide non-deterministic space for the public while maintaining a zero carbon footprint.
This project began as a formal exploration in which a paper unit was aggregated to create an adaptable network. A pavilion was created by manipulating the network to accommodate the programmatic requirements of a privately owned public space.
